The company has an opening at its sterile injectable manufacturing facility in Cambridge, Ontario for a IT Project Manager.

Job Summary

The IT Project Manager reports to the IT Manager, Digital Workplace & IT Systems and is responsible for
planning, executing, and finalizing IT projects according to deadlines and budgets. This includes identifying and
coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects
according to plan. They will also define the project’s objectives and oversee the project through the PPMO
process.

Responsibilities

Demonstrates the company’s Mission, Vision and Values Statements, policies, and current standard business
practices.
• Models expected behaviors within the team, driving a service excellence culture:

o Providing service delivery that will create service wows.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with management
and stakeholders.
• Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
• Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
• Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle.
• Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
• Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear
fashion.
• Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
• Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
• Track project milestones and deliverables.
• Oversee the project through the PPMO and stage gate process.
• Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
• Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
• Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take
positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
• Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.
• Performs other related duties and/or special projects as required in the department.

Qualifications

Education:


• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a related field (IT related field is preferred)
• Relevant certification is an asset (i.e. PMP).
Skills:
• Strong team player with the ability to lead and mentor staff, including remotely, as well as within crosscultural teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with diverse teams (proactive).
• Proficiency in French or Portuguese (Brazilian) is an asset.
• Agile in thought and action with the ability to tackle difficult problems analytically and to make wellreasoned business decisions (business acumen).
• Demonstrated experience guiding conflict resolution and facilitating employee relations activities.
• Experience in several project management methods: waterfall, agile…
• Familiarity with IT I&O technology, for example: Microsoft 365, Azure, Identity, Cybersecurity...
• Capability of producing high quality specification and documentation.
Experience:
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience managing IT infrastructure and operations projects
• Pharmaceutical, food, or cosmetic industry experience is considered an asset.
• Demonstrated track record of providing great customer service.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and other Employment related legislation such as the
Employment Standards Act is considered an asset
• Valid Driver’s license and passport (i.e. eligible to travel Internationally up to 10% of the time).
• Must be available to work on all shifts.
