Sales Executive (Mumbai) M/F

Job Summary

Drive sales growth and market penetration of Septodont’s dental products in the assigned territory. Build lasting customer relationships, engage with dental professionals, ensure timely collections, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver consistent business outcomes.

Responsibilities

Sales Achievement & Target Management

  • Achieve sales targets by monitoring performance metrics such as target vs achievement, collection efficiency, and customer conversion rates.
  • Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments to maintain financial discipline and healthy cash flow.
  • Strategically plan and execute OPD campaigns to maximize new customer onboarding and targeting atleast 60% conversion rate per sale.
  • Establish strong partnerships with dental colleges to integrate SHIPL products into their academic and clinical practices.

Customer Engagement & Business Development

  • Plan and meet dentists as per the assigned list under the guidance of the reporting manager.
  • Promote Septodont products through scientific communication and targeted customer acquisition strategies.
  • Support brand building through CDEs, hands-on workshops, and field visits.
  • Driving actions for customer retention and acquisition through strategic engagement and relationship-building.

Planning & Reporting

  • Develop and adhere to a monthly field tour plan to ensure maximum coverage of target areas.
  • Provide weekly sales reports to the reporting manager, detailing customer interactions, conversions, and sales progress.
  • Attend weekly sales meetings to discuss performance, action plans, and strategic improvements.


Team Collaboration & Capability Building

  • Stay updated and committed to continuous learning to develop expertise in product offerings, sales strategies, and customer engagement.
  • Contribute to the performance-driven culture by engaging in quarterly reviews and documented feedback.
  • Collaborate with teammates to enhance their business operations and support career growth.

Inventory & Dealer Management

  • Ensure optimum dealer inventory levels and monitor stock movements.
  • Manage dealer-driven product strategies through monthly reviews and stock sales statements.
  • Train at least 2 dealer representatives to improve product knowledge and sales performance.
     

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (mandatory) B.Sc. preferred; MBA/ PGDM (Marketing/Business) will be an added advantage
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in sales
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or dental industry preferred
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Willingness to travel for fieldwork and client meetings
  • Self-motivated with a target-driven approach
