Job Title

Supply Chain Coordinator

Job Summary

The Supply Chain Coordinator is accountable to the Supply Chain Director and is responsible for departmental task consolidation, training coordination, investigations, special projects and continuous improvement initiatives within the Supply Chain Department.

Responsibilities

  • Leads department administrative tasks by coordinating and managing documentation, internal files, records, and metrics.
  • Acts as main point of contact for the department to rollout key sitewide program initiatives, drive continuous improvement initiatives and standards.
  • Coordinates with Project Managers and Supply Chain personnel on the material needs of their development projects including raw material sourcing, bill of material review, inventory checks, chemistry release timing to ensure production readiness.
  • Coordinates and facilitates investigations for department; monitors and reports quality process metrics; represents department for cross functional investigations; brings investigations to completion for safety and quality events for the department, including AIR, DIR, DCR, CCR, TCR, CAPA.
  • Accountable for the Supply Chain training compliance metric by preparing training packages, training documentation and scheduling training sessions.
  • Supports execution of the inventory management strategy by performing cycle counts, assisting in setting safety stock strategies, and participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Compiles task lists and coordinates execution of tasks across one or more supply chain functions.
  • Organizes meetings, conference calls, video conferences and take minutes as required.
  • Provides memos, reports, Power Point presentations, letters, agendas, itineraries, and any other such confidential materials and/or administrative support as required.
  • Acts as a backup to support with batch record printing and verification.
  • Provides assistance on a wide range of organizational, departmental projects, and other duties as assigned.
  • Follow GMP and regulatory requirements, and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Observe and support all safety guidelines and regulations.
  • Demonstrate the Company Mission, Vision and Values Statement, policies, and current standard business practices.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education

  •  University or college degree in a related discipline.

 

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of related experience is an asset.
  • Acute attention to detail.
  • Well-developed time management skills and effective technical writing skills.
  • Ability to work in a self-directed team environment.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word and Power Point.
