We have an opportunity for a Building Services Coordinator.
The Building Services Coordinator is accountable to the Building Services Manager and is responsible for coordination of building maintenance activities and planning, providing support to the Building Services team. These building equipment/systems include hard and soft services. This role is also responsible for coordinating with third party contractors according to maintenance needs.
The Building Services department is responsible for the following programs and systems across the Cambridge site complex comprised of 5 buildings: garmenting, custodial, sanitation, building repairs, maintenance, building systems, security, and pest control.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in operations and maintenance of industrial buildings
- Engineering, Facilities or, Maintenance and Diploma or related experience required.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in pharmaceutical, food/beverage or consumer packaging is an asset
- Good interpersonal, troubleshooting, communication, planning & organizing skills, demonstrates initiative, problem solver, team player, results oriented and self-motivated.
- Has the ability to lead and take ownership on systems and projects.
- Experience in MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Experience with maintenance management systems and ERPs is an asset
- Experience in a Lean Manufacturing environment is an asset
